📋 Overview
You may cancel your GoStock subscription at any time. We believe in a no-lock-in model — you are in full control of your subscription.
🔄 How to Cancel
- Log into your GoStock account
- Click your name or avatar in the top navigation bar
- Select "👤 View Profile" from the dropdown
- Scroll down to the Danger Zone and click "🗑️ Cancel Subscription"
- Confirm the cancellation — you will receive a confirmation email within minutes
On mobile? Tap the menu icon → tap your profile row at the top → go to the ⚡ Plan tab → scroll to Cancel Subscription.
Alternatively, email linuxunixaix1@gmail.com with subject "Cancel Subscription — [your email]" and we will process it within 1 business day.
📅 What Happens After Cancellation
- Access Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
- Renewal You will not be charged for the next billing cycle
- Data Your account and analysis history are retained for 90 days after cancellation
- Downgrade After the period ends, your account reverts to the Free plan (2 recommendations/month)
Example: If you cancel on the 10th of a month and your billing date is the 25th, you continue to have full Premium/Unlimited access until the 25th. No partial refunds are issued for unused days.
🔁 Reactivation
You can reactivate your subscription at any time by selecting a plan from the subscription page. Reactivation restores your full plan benefits immediately upon successful payment.
Previous usage history and saved preferences are retained if you reactivate within 90 days of cancellation.
🗑️ Account Deletion
Cancelling your subscription is different from deleting your account. To permanently delete your account and all associated data:
- Go to your Profile → Danger Zone → Delete My Account — deletion is self-serve and immediate
- Alternatively, email linuxunixaix1@gmail.com with subject "Delete My Account"
- Account deletion is irreversible and permanently removes all data from our servers and Firebase
- Any active subscription must be cancelled before account deletion
⚠️ Cancellation by GoStock
We reserve the right to suspend or cancel your subscription without refund if:
- You violate our Terms & Conditions
- Your account is found to be engaged in fraudulent activity
- You share subscription access with unauthorized users
In all other cases of service-side cancellation (e.g., discontinuation of a plan), you will receive a pro-rated refund for unused days.
